SCRIP (School Cash Rebate Incentive Program) is a gift card fundraising program which allows the purchaser to earn money towards their family’s annual scrip deposit of $275, and their child’s class fund, through the purchase of gift cards, e-cards and reloadable cards from dozens of vendors for everyday expenses like food, gas, clothing, travel and entertainment.
Please stop by the Company of Angels school store and ask our SCRIP Coordinator, Pam Lusk, to help you set up your SCRIP account with Raiseright.com and learn about the app. This way you can purchase and reload gift cards and even print gift certificates at home when the School Store is closed.

The SCRIP Store . . . Turning everyday shopping into classroom dollars!
As a non-profit, WSOC buys gifts cards at a discount from a variety of retailers for everyday expenses, and then sells them at full value to WSOC families and friends. The school keeps the difference between the discounted price and the face value of the Scrip, generating revenue. Rebates are generated as a percentage; for example, a $100 gift card at Mother’s Market at 10% generates $10 toward your SCRIP obligation. The yearly obligation is $275 in rebates per family (not per child) per year. After the $275 has been reached, 50% of any excess amount that you accrue in rebates through Scrip will go to your child(ren)’s class account; the remaining 50% will go to the school’s operating fund.
You can purchase gift cards from our SCRIP Store (inside the Company of Angels). You can also purchase online in a variety of ways: Raiseright.com offers physical gift cards, e-cards and reloadable cards for over 700 retailers.
Over 380 retailers offer ScripNow, which are eCards that you can buy and receive instantly on your computer or phone. You can then print them or redeem them from your mobile device. These can also be emailed to friends and family.

Shop as you normally do. Up to 8% of your total purchase price is earned for the school. The determining factor is cumulative monthly sales volume for the school. The average earnings for us is 8%, so we are all doing it right!
