Extended Care

Extended care for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten is a conscious continuation of a rhythm in support of the Waldorf school day. Along with a rest period at the beginning, activities include arts and crafts, supervised outside play, stories and games. Please note, extended care is not available for students in the Nursery Program at this time. Please see After School Programs on our website for more details.

Sample Schedule for Extended Care

• 1:15 – 1:45 —Rest/quiet indoor play
• 1:45 – 2:15 — Outside play
• 2:15 – 2:45 — Snack
• 2:45 – 4:30 — Inside play, story time, games
