Amy Green-Bosinoff is the main lesson teacher for the Class of 2037. Amy discovered Waldorf education through a Waldorf-inspired cooperative preschool for her eldest child and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the pedagogy. With a background in education, she went on to further her studies, becoming a founding member of a Waldorf charter school and completing both the Foundations and Teacher Training programs at Waldorf School Orange County.
Amy holds California teaching credentials in Multiple Subject Education and Single Subject Social Studies and has taught across grades 1–12 as a Waldorf class teacher. Her younger child currently attends WSOC, and she is thrilled to join the Class of 2037 as their Main Lesson Teacher.
Outside the classroom, Amy enjoys camping and hiking with her family, learning new crafts, and experimenting with new recipes.
Charlotte Guest teaches our Early Years classes, including Parent/Infant, Parent/Toddler, Playgroup, and Bridge.
Charlotte grew up in Encinitas, California, and was raised by two educators. She was introduced to Waldorf education through the families she babysat for and their school, Sanderling Waldorf School, which inspired her to pursue early childhood education. She graduated high school a year early to attend a gap year program at Emerson College in England, deepening her connection to Waldorf education through art, history, and self-discovery.
Charlotte earned a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Naropa University, focusing on holistic and contemplative teaching traditions. She has worked as a kindergarten assistant and lead teacher at Sanderling Waldorf School and Maple Village Waldorf School, and completed her Waldorf Early Childhood certification at the Waldorf Institute of Southern California.
Now a parent of two, Charlotte brings both professional experience and a deep commitment to supporting young children and their families. Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time in nature, storytelling, felting, singing, and making puppets.
Elise Woodward is an art teacher and ceramic artist. She has been throwing pottery and creating art in various media for over 20 years. She received her BFA with a concentration in ceramics from California State University, Fullerton and has spent the years since graduating teaching both art and ceramics to adults with disabilities. Ms. Woodward is a member of the Whittier Gallery and recently won first place in the three-dimensional category. Her sculptures have been exhibited in many galleries including the Fullerton Museum Center and the DTLA gallery. Ms. Woodward specializes in both functional and sculptural works and she is excited to share her love of art and ceramics with the Waldorf School of Orange County.
Helen Zadourain serves as our Grades Resource Teacher.
Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Helen is of Armenian heritage and brings more than 25 years of experience in education. She holds a teaching diploma, a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature, and specialized training in integrating students with learning differences into mainstream classrooms, with a focus on reading interventions.
Helen spent ten years teaching English as both a first and second language to elementary, middle, and high school students in Lebanon, followed by another decade teaching at the university level. During that time, she coordinated courses in business English, communication skills, and a range of humanities subjects. She is fluent in Armenian, Arabic, French, and English.
Helen discovered Waldorf education through her two daughters in 2019. While her children attended Waldorf Beirut, she also served as Teacher Training Coordinator for the Goetheanum-recognized Teacher Training Center. The spiritual and developmental dimensions of Waldorf education deeply shaped her approach to teaching.
After relocating to Southern California in 2022, Helen joined Maple Village Waldorf School as a middle school lead teacher and began her Waldorf training at Waldorf School Orange County. In addition to her work in education, Helen holds a degree in Culinary Arts and is a certified chef who enjoys cooking and baking in her free time.
Oriana Gourley is a Kindergarten Teacher at Waldorf School Orange County.
A lifelong resident of Orange County, Oriana earned her Bachelor of Science in Child and Adolescent Development and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton. Her introduction to Waldorf education began during her credential program and led her to complete the Foundation Studies program at WSOC.
Oriana brings a wide range of teaching experience, including private tutoring for students in kindergarten through sixth grade and teaching in a Waldorf charter school, where she guided the same class through kindergarten, first, and second grades. Since joining the WSOC faculty in 2014, she has served in multiple roles, including pre-kindergarten and kindergarten assistant and co-teacher.
Oriana is also a WSOC parent, with two children attending the school. Outside the classroom, she enjoys singing, crafting, reading, and traveling.
Ximena Schreiner is the main lesson teacher for the Class of 2035. Ximena contributed her talents at WSOC by assisting in the grades’ classrooms, and her dedication to our school led her to focus on teaching the grades. Demonstrating her commitment to professional growth, Ximena completed Foundational Studies in Early Childhood through Lifeways and has furthered her knowledge by studying Brain Science with the esteemed Sharifa Oppenheimer. Ximena will continue her Waldorf studies this summer and fall, further deepening her understanding of our educational philosophy. Prior to her Waldorf training, Ximena achieved a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Art History from USC. Her quest for knowledge and appreciation for diverse cultures led her to undertake studies abroad. Ximena delved deep into the captivating art history of Italy during a semester abroad and embarked on an immersive summer program, exploring the architectural wonders of East Asia in Japan, Taipei, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Cambodia. Before joining our school community, Ximena's professional endeavors as an architect encompassed projects of various scales, both nationally and internationally. She brings a wealth of expertise acquired during her time living in Brazil for seven years, where she also met her husband. Ximena's love for the arts, math, science, culture, and above all, learning, shines through in her approach to Waldorf pedagogy.
