Timber Tangle Climbing Structure
Children have a natural urge to climb onto things or climb up things. Climbing develops self-perception, fosters the ability to make decisions, supports concentration, trains spatial perception, and builds self-confidence. For children ages six years to teenagers, to be used in stages as children learn to master, this centerpiece will provide varying levels of difficulty to challenge all our children.
This highly-engineered play piece is made from hand-processed, irregular round logs. At an impressive 20' x 40', this structure can accommodate large groups of children and incorporate all of them within a flowing play rhythm. It allows for climbing, experiencing height, and creates a sensory experience with the hands and feet. It will also be a nice perch for relaxing and observing.
"Life must be lived as play." - Plato
