WSOC engages students at each stage of their development. From nature stories and folk tales in the early grades to  the study of ancient Greece and Rome in middle school, the subjects resonate with students at each phase of their journey into young adulthood.

Our educators, who share an understanding of child development, deeply consider the students before them and infuse their lessons with movement, art, and plenty of outdoor learning opportunities.
