Winning with Waldorf - Golf Tournament

Of all the good causes you are asked to support, we hope that Waldorf Education is one that captures your heart. This remarkable educational program was founded in Europe 90 years ago. Based on the insights of Rudolf Steiner, Waldorf Education continues to meet the demands of the times today by bringing about a healthy relationship between human beings, the earth and the spirit. Waldorf Education provides:

  • A multi-sensory style of teaching that engages the whole child cognitively, actively and emotionally.
  • A strong academic curriculum designed to balance initiative and creativity with comprehension and analysis.
  • The incorporation of the arts, movement, song, drama, storytelling and music into each subject, which brings the material to life and helps develop a lifelong love of learning.

WALDORF SCHOOL OF ORANGE COUNTY (WSOC) is a nonprofit, nondenominational school serving children throughout Orange County from preschool through high school. Waldorf Education prepares our students to go out into the world with knowledge, courage, enthusiasm, creativity and a solid sense of self.

THE ASSOCIATION OF WALDORF SCHOOLS OF NORTH AMERICA (AWSNA), serves to strengthen and nurture the impulse of Waldorf Education in the world. To this end, AWSNA works to develop quality and integrity in the realms of early childhood education, elementary and secondary education as well as research and curriculum development, development/administrative support, publications, teacher training loans, teacher mentoring and school accreditation. AWSNA represents more than 270 member schools in North America as part of a movement with approximately 1000 schools worldwide.
